Deviled Egg Day

Deviled Egg Day is celebrated on November 2nd of each year in order to recognize the famous Deviled Egg.  Deviled eggs or eggs mimosa are hard-boiled eggs cut in half and filled with the hard-boiled egg’s yolk mixed usually with mayonnaise and mustard. Deviled eggs are usually served cold. They are served as a side dish, appetizer or a main course, and are a common holiday or party food.

Deviled Eggs are such a popular food there are several websites completely dedicated to Deviled Eggs; The Deviled Egg and The Deviled Egg Gourmet are just a couple.  These sites are dedicated to boiling the perfect boiled egg and sharing the perfect Deviled Egg recipe.

With all this love, it’s no wonder Deviled Egg Day was invented.  Unfortunately, the staff at National Whatever Day has been unable to uncover the origins of Deviled Egg Day.  Though, this will not prevent us from celebrating by chowing down on some of our favorite Deviled Egg recipes!
