National Compliment Day

National Compliment Day is celebrated on January 24th of each year. This day was created in 1998 by Kathy Chamberlin, of Hopkinton, NH. and Debby Hoffman, of Concord, NH.

A compliment is an expression of praise, congratulation or encouragement. The idea of National Compliment Day is to see how many sincere compliments you can give throughout the day. Compliments are kind of like smiles, when you give one you are almost sure to receive one in return.
