National Mustard Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of August each year at the National Mustard Museum. It is a fun-filled day for the whole family and has traditionally included FREE hot dogs as well as music, games, other entertainment, FREE mustard sampling, and more. The Mustard Museum has been the official sponsor of this event since 1991.
In 2010, the event was moved to the current home of the Museum in Downtown Middleton, Wisconsin. With more than 6,000 enthusiastic mustard lovers in attendance and over $3,500 being raised for the Restoring Hope Transplant House, the 2010 event was definitely a huge success. The 2011 event also drew thousands and raised money for the Friends of the Middleton Library as well as the new nonprofit National Mustard Museum.
